Hello everyone!
As we swing into Fall, we wanted to bring you a couple of quick and nutritious recipes to help keep you going. A delicious energy ball snack and easy to make smoothie are great healthy ways fill fuel your body.

A Nutty Energy snack
Ingredients:
1 cup pitted organic dates
1/2 cup raw Brazil nuts
1/2 cup raw pecans
3 tablespoons carob (or cacao) powder
Pinch of sea salt
Pinch of cinnamon
2 tsp melted raw coconut oil
1/2 cup Gogi berries
1/2 cup sesame seeds or hemp seeds
Soak dates and Gogi berries in water 1 hour before, then discard water.
Place all ingredients (except for sesame or hemp seeds) into food processor and pulse until nuts are ground and mix comes together. With hands make small balls and roll in seeds or press mixture out in paper lined pan and sprinkle seeds on it (cut into bars after freezing). Freeze for at least 1 hour (cut into squares if desired). Store in fridge.
Berry green smoothie
2 cups frozen organic berries (raspberries, blueberries or blackberries)
1/2 avocado
1/2-1 tsp Chlorella powder
1 Tsp Camu Camu powder
Pinch of cinnamon
Water as needed
(you can add 1/2 cup of plain organic yogurt to make it creamier and/or 1tsp agave syrup to sweeten)
Place all ingredients in blender and mix until smooth.
